St. Christopher Policies and Procedures

Medication Policy
It is mandatory to have a signed medicine form from your physician in order to dispense medication at school. Download Medicine Form in PDF format.

Dress Code
Uniforms may be purchased from the following vendors:
Schoolbelles, Lands' End, and/or Casual Image. Gym uniforms and spirit wear may be purchased from Casual Image or Qasi.

 KINDERGARTEN students may wear nice play clothes. Pants seem to be better than dresses due to the types of activities that these students engage in. Gym shoes would be the best choice for everyday.

GIRLS GRADES 1 - 4 may wear navy pants, navy skort, or navy shorts. Navy shorts may be worn May through September. Plaid uniform jumper is optional. They may choose white, maroon, ash gray or navy uniform shirts - uniform shirts are short sleeve polo, long sleeve polo, blouse or oxfortd shirt either printed with St. Chris logo or plain only. Sweater or sweatshirts can only be worn over a uniform shirt.

BOYS GRADES 1 - 6 may wear navy pants or navy shorts. They may choose white, maroon, ash gray or navy uniform shirts - uniform shirts are short sleeve polo, long sleeve polo, sweatshirts or oxford shirt either printed with St. Chris logo or plain only.

BOYS GRADES 7 & 8 may wear navy or khaki pants or navy or khaki shorts. They may choose white, maroon, ash gray or navy uniform shirts - uniform shirts are short sleeve polo, long sleeve polo, sweatshirts or oxford shirt either printed with St. Chris logo or plain only.

THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO ALL STUDENTS:

  • Socks, sweaters, and sweatshirts must be either gray, white, navy or maroon.
  • All uniform items must be emblem free with the exception of the St. Chris logos.
  • Printed T-shirts may not be worn under the white uniform shirts.
  • Shirts must be tucked at all times.
  • Shorts and skorts may not be any shorter than three inches above the knee.
  • Socks are mandatory at all times.
  • Shoes: any safe type is acceptable. Shoes that follow fads or extreme styles are NOT permitted. Sandals and dress shoes are permitted, but are not the safest for play on blacktop. They must be worn with socks.
  • Belts need to be worn with pants and shorts.
  • Makeup and nail polish may not be worn at school.

Dress for out of uniform days must be appropriate for school. Skirts, skorts, and shorts may not be any shorter than three inches above the knee. Tank tops or other similar articles of clothing are unacceptable. Students need to wear clothing that fits them. Items that are too tight as well as items that are falling off may not be worn.

Students who choose to dress inappropriately for the school day (uniform or out of uniform) will be asked to call their parents to bring them more suitable clothing. The student will not return to class until dressed in proper attire. The student will be responsible for all missed work.

Items NOT allowed as uniform wear: Pleated cargo skirt, cargo skort, cargo pants, cargo shorts, cord pants.

MANDATORY AND APPROVED GYM UNIFORMS (ALL GRADES 1-8, BOYS AND GIRLS):
Gym uniform may be worn all day in place of school uniform ONLY on the student's gym day.

  • Gym t-shirts: gray shirt with navy St. Chris logo.
  • Gym long-sleeve t-shirt: gray shirt with navy St. Chris logo.
  • Gym crew sweatshirt: ash gray, white, maroon or navy either printed with St. Chris logo or plain only.
  • Gym shorts: Navy shorts with gray St. Chris logo.
  • Gym sweatpants: Navy pants with gray St. Chris logo.
  • Gym nylon pants: Navy pants with gray St. Chris logo.

No other items will be accepted for gym uniform.
