HSA

The St. Christopher Home School Association (HSA) supports and advances the spiritual and academic mission of the school. Upon enrollment, all parents/guardians of St. Christopher students automatically become members of this dedicated group of volunteers.

In addition to our parents, the HSA consists of an executive board and our principal. This team facilitates our monthly meetings held throughout the year, and approves and coordinates all events under the jurisdiction of the HSA. The HSA sponsors many of our children’s most anticipated and memorable experiences, including our Fall Bonfire, Field Days and Run for Funds. Without the support and participation of our parents, these events would not be possible.

Additionally, in order to uphold the high level of resources our children need and deserve, and in an effort to maintain affordable tuition rates, fundraising is a primary focus of the Home School Association. The HSA coordinates several fundraising events throughout the year and all monies raised go directly to the school and our students.

While the HSA dedicates much of its efforts toward fundraising, the overall goal is to foster communication among parents, teachers, and administration. Participation in monthly meetings and volunteer opportunities promote connectivity and enhance our sense of community. Further, within HSA, there are several sub committees targeting specific areas of strategic planning. We understand that each parent has their own strengths, ideas, and networks. Sub committees provide the opportunity to choose what they would most enjoy and where they would feel most impactful. These include:

  • Advancement Committee
  • Events Committee
  • Fundraising Committee
  • Teacher Appreciation Commitee
  • Membership Committee
